INTRAVASCULAR FOREIGN BODY REMOVAL
- What is intravascular foreign body removal:

- Sometimes catheter, peripheral lines or sheath accidently broken and remain inside vessels. So it is necessary to remove these foreign objects to prevent further complication. This process is known as intravascular foreign body removal.
- Why it necessary:

- Intravascular foreign objects are harmful for body and may sometimes leads to vessel blockage or displaced into heart (leads to cardiac arrest).
- So it is necessary to remove theses foreign objects from vessels.
- How it performed:

- It is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anaesthesia and through small pinhole.
- After procedure, no stitches or any scar mark, only 6 hour limb immobilization if arterial access is used.
What are the benefits:
