Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Appointment Cancellation

• Patients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours beforethe scheduled appointment time without any cancellation charges.
• Cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may not be eligible for a refund.
• If the appointment has already commenced or the consultation has been completed, no refund will be provided.

2. Procedure Cancellation

• For interventional radiology procedures requiring prior scheduling, operation theatre reservation, consumables, or specialist preparation, cancellation requests should be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled procedure.
• If a procedure is cancelled after preparation has begun, IR Clinic reserves the right to deduct applicable administrative, diagnostic, or preparation charges before processing any refund.
• If the procedure is cancelled by the treating doctor or IR Clinic due to medical, operational, or emergency reasons, the patient may choose to:
  • Reschedule the procedure at no additional consultation charge, or
  • Receive a refund for the amount paid, after deducting any services already rendered.

3. Consultation Fees

• Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed, whether conducted in person, via teleconsultation, or through any digital platform.
• If the consultation is cancelled by IR Clinic before it takes place, the patient will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule.

4. Diagnostic Tests and Medical Services

• Payments made for diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, or medical services that have already been performed are non-refundable.
• If a booked service cannot be provided due to technical, medical, or operational reasons attributable to IR Clinic, an appropriate refund or rescheduling option will be offered.

5. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed using the original mode of payment whenever possible.
• Refunds are generally processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment gateway, bank, or card issuer.
• Processing times may vary based on the patient's financial institution.

6. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If your account has been charged due to:

• a duplicate payment,
• a failed transaction where the amount was debited,
• or any payment processing error,

please contact our support team with your payment details. After verification, the eligible refund will be processed promptly.

7. Emergency Situations

In genuine medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances, refund or rescheduling requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of IR Clinic.
